Suzanne Hopgood is President of The Hopgood Group, a workout / turnaround firm specializing in banking, real estate, hotel, and retail companies. She has served as Chairman of the Board and interim CEO of the publicly traded Furr's Restaurant Group, as a result of a precedent setting shareholder action led by TIAA-CREF. Most recently Suzanne was CEO and on the Board of Houlihan's Restaurant Group, a privately held company with $350 million in restaurant sales.

Prior to starting The Hopgood Group in 1985, Ms. Hopgood was responsible for a $1 billion equity real estate portfolio for Aetna Realty Investors. Prior to that she served as Vice President and Senior Loan Office of the Lowell Institution for Savings in Lowell, Mass. She grew up in a family owned hotel and restaurant business.
She is a frequent speaker at National Association of Corporate Director seminars and has published articles on improving Corporate Board performance.
